A French wedding at Chateau La Durantie

Michael & Annabel, Annabel & Michael! Wow, what a wedding! It was a particularly favourite for me of 2015 as it took me back to the first wedding I ever photographed “properly”. This was for Nick & Lucie and Lucie is Annabel’s older sister. So it is a huge compliment to be asked to be here and wonderful to see lots of familiar faces.
It was in fact due to Lucie that the wedding took place in France at this utterly superb location, Chateau La Durantie. She had suggested it to Annabel as an idea, way before her and Michael had even got engaged. What made this wedding even more special was arriving a few days early and having the time to get to know everyone individually not to mention doing zoomba classes and being part of the bridal shower! It was all incredibly special.
