I met Claudio & Elena originally in Paris when they told me about their wedding that would take place in a small naval town just north of Santiago de Compostela. The ceremony was late in the day at 6pm (to avoid the heat) and in the most beautiful cathedral, La Parroquia de Castrense de San Francisco. Afterwards everyone jumped in their cars and we went on el Pazo de San Tirso for the reception, then dinner & of course lots of dancing. An amazing Spanish wedding!
“We looove the pictures!! It was wonderful having you as our photographer. Our families loved them as well 🙂 Thank-you!”

Destination weddings are special, weddings in Italy are really special. The olive groves, the pizza, the “bonjourno’s”, the fresh tomatoes, the sun, the wine…. and not forgetting of course, all your closest and bestest friends together for four days in the most beautiful of locations Petrolo .
“Struggling to put into words how incredible these pictures are. WOW. You couldn’t have timed those sunset ones any better… They are out of this world. Thank you, thank you for totally capturing our special day we’ve been so excited to see just a few and these are absolutely incredible . You are amazing and so talented 💋💋💋💋😘😘”
Thursday evening.. pizza night!
Friday started small with a trip to the local town for the official stuff to happen. This was a two part thing with an all important gelato & a coffee stop in between. Then on for a delicious lunch washed down with some locally made limoncello.
Returning to Petrolo preparations were underway for the ceremony and the evening celebrations.
The ceremony took place underneath an ancient fur tree. There were readings, friends played music and then the exchanging of rings. Afterwards the party started with drinks around the fountain then dinner, speeches, the most glorious sunset photographs and of course dancing ….. all night long!!!
Where better place to do your engagement photos than at Westminster? The perfect back drop of London with red phone boxes adding that dash of colour to your images and Big Ben chiming in the background.
