Beatrice Perry - London fashion designer
One fine July day, Beatrice and Beatrice decided to go for a walk in the Lake District. They donned the extremely flattering Piers Dresses, designed by Beatrice Perry – one in storm chambray & the other in candy pinstripe.
The natural rugged greens of the valley are completely breathtaking and only inhabited by deer and sheep. Occasionally the purple of a fox glove would peep up against the greys of the ancient dry stone walls which are typical to the Lake District.
Suddenly over a small incline, having walked along the path on top of the hill, they saw the lake. A magnificent cold and enticing place to swim on such a hot day! Luckily picnic supplies had been brought and they spent a leisurely couple of hours enjoying the rare Cumbrian heat wave.
That evening on their return they bathed and changed. Beatrice wore the Osmanthus dress, first in racing green and then in cherry red which matched the bungalow colours extraordinary well! As the sun set and the golden evening light disappeared over the hill the shadows raced up the valley and all in all it seemed to have been the most perfect English summers day.
