Today I wanted to take a moment to remember the horror of last week in Paris. Yesterday in Trafalgar Square thousands turned out to pay their respects and remember those who lost their lives. People held up pens, banners with the slogan Je suis Charlie or cartoons from the Charlie Hebdo magazine. The French national anthem, the Marseillaise was to be heard quietly being sung.  What often happens far away on the other side of the world has suddenly come closer to home and what was shown yesterday was solidarity and support from many different people from all types of cultures and religions.
