“Never work with animals or children” I think is how the saying goes! Well I love working with both (I have a dalmatian myself) and really, you can’t have more fun than messing around and being a child!
Lifestyle photography means natural day to day imagery portraying your children in real life while enjoying themselves as much as possible! My photo shoots run from 1-3 hours depending on how many children and how they feel on the day. Our time together is meant to be fun whether it be running around, playing hide and seek, catching bubbles or even having a teddy bears picnic! It’s nice to hear children telling their parents after the shoot that it was much more fun than they thought it would be!

Jay and Jacque, June 2011 “We met up near the Eiffel tower with hermione and we ended up getting some family photos that we will always treasure.
We have young kids and a baby so we’re not the easiest group to photograph. Hermione really made it easy and she knew exactly where to place us and what to do. She is truly a professional and a really wonderful person on top.”
Julia, May 2012 “J & R, aged 10 and 8, so enjoyed having their photos taken – Hermione’s natural charm and ease with children meant they simply thought it was an entertaining morning playing outside. The resulting mixture of posed and totally natural action shots captured their characters so well. We are delighted with the photos.“
Tatiana, October 2012 “The photos are just fabulous! We love them and are utterly thrilled to have such a special set of our (obviously) gorgeous and superior smalls.”
Christine, October 2013 “I highly recommend Hermione McCosh Photography as this is the second time Jessie has been photographed by Hermione and we couldn’t be happier with the pictures. The session was fun and relaxing, Hermione was patient and attentive to Jessie’s needs, and the best thing is we have beautiful and creative images that will last a lifetime!”
Linda, November 2013 What can I say! Having looked at Daisy’s photo’s BRILLIANT! Even the split second of the dog lick!
I photographed Phoebe in the garden of her home in London. She pranced around showing me her cat, rabbit (which was as big as her!), her favourite book and her secret den at the back of the garden. A very special and beautiful child and very fun to photograph!
Spending the afternoon with Ella, bubbles and her magic wand made the perfect combination for great photos. Of course her little red riding hood coat and yellow umbrella made the perfect outfit for these gorgeous photos.
I met Kiki and Harry in Fulham Palace Gardens in London on a late septembers morning. It had been Kiki’s 3rd birthday the day before so of course the pink balloons had to come too. Both with big blue eyes they couldn’t have looked sweeter even rolling around in the mud at the end!
I met Malik in Paris one January afternoon. Not the warmest time of year to photograph outside so Malik was more than happy messing around inside and with the natural light filtering through the classic french Haussmann window it was a perfect location. Even his stripy jumper matched the table cloth behind!
Daisy came as a little purple fairy and couldn’t have been sweeter to photograph. We played finding the fairy doors under the tree and then we had a change of outfit and she brought in her dog and teddy bear to be in the images with her. So unique!
I photographed Georgie on beautiful autumn day. Giving wonderful background colours to all of the images. The little chair, bunting and her teddy bear made excellent props and I spent an hour with her playing in the leaves!
I photographed Connor and Caitlin in Cumbria at the end of the day when the light is at it’s most best. Dora the dog (who loves children) popped into a couple of the images too which is always fun.
